Research Positions
Investigating agentic workflows in engineering design (with PhD candidate Alejandro Pradas Gomez) and methods of risk analysis in the industrialisation of additive manufacturing (with PhD candidate Tina Hajali). Developing methods that use margins to counter uncertainty in designs.
Projects: TolkAI (VINNOVA) — interpretable AI in product development. Detaills (Erasmus+) — AI-driven engineering design curriculum.
Projects: DIAS (EU) — manufacturing risk assessment at the product architecture stage, in collaboration with GKN Aerospace. DiDAM (VINNOVA) — digitalization-related risk assessment for AM adoption in industry.
Thesis: Engineering design change propagation and its mitigation using margins. Developed the Margin Value Method (MVM). Supervisors: Dr. David C. Wynn, Prof. Xun Xu.
